About Kenkel
The first Kenkel Hardshell Nutcracker was designed by Michael Kenkel for his father, who was recovering from a stroke and found cracking nuts difficult. The new device worked so well its popularity grew into a widely known family favorite. The company is still family owned and dedicated to providing top quality and service.

Comments about Kenkel Hardshell Nutcracker:
I received my Kenkel Hardshell Nutcracker on a Wednesday and by Friday afternoon I had already cracked over a bushel basket of black walnuts I had picked up, hulled, and dried about three weeks earlier. It worked great! Saved me sooo much time. Using a hammer would have taked forever...It was a good investment...would recommend it to anyone.

Comments about Kenkel Hardshell Nutcracker:
I used the Kinkle nutcracker for the first time yesterday. It has cracked every nut shell I have put in it. However, it also destroys most of the nut meat too, no matter how delicately I operate the handle.

Comments about Kenkel Hardshell Nutcracker:
The best review I could give is to repeat my wife's comment after her first use of the Kenkel Nutcracker. "Wow, I can work with this!" She later brought me a bag of "goodies" that had been cracked using a competitive cracker. "Look at the difference." The size of the pieces from the Kenkel were noticeably larger.
