      Wanted it for cracking black walnuts. ( these were home grown )
      Since we seldom use nuts in the shell, we'll have to consider buying some.
      Needs to be more handicap friendly.

        Like how the screw lets you control the pressure applied to the nut.

        Like how the unit holds the cracked shell and nut

        Didn't work too well on Almonds (they are too soft), and on Brazil nuts (couldn't screw hard enought to crack them).

        Could use a longer handle for the screw.
